The download size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Matterfall. When viewed directly from the PS4, the product page on the PlayStation Store shows that the exclusive title will require 4.15 GB of free space on the internal hard disk drive of the home console. If you are interested, the digital version of the side-scrolling action shooter is available for preorder with this link on Amazon.
In Matterfall, players take control of Avalon Darrow. Using a specialized armored suit, the character can attack, dodge, jump and create platforms in order to move across the deal environments filled with enemies.
Matterfall is being developed by Housemarque. The studio previously developed Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, Resogun, Alienation and Nex Machina. Sony Interactive Entertainment is publishing the upcoming title, which will be released on the 15th of August in the North American region.
The PlayStation 4 comes pre-installed with either a 500 GB or 1 TB internal HDD. If you are running out of room to download and/or install games such as the above-mentioned Matterfall, then you might look into getting an external storage device. If you are interested in doing so, then we recommend taking a look at the Toshiba Canvio Connect II 2TB Portable Hard Drive, which you can check out with this page.
