Potential PS4 and Vita North American covers revealed for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star

Amazon has updated the product pages for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, revealing the potential North American covers. If you are interested, you can preorder the anime action game with the following links: PlayStation 4 version and PlayStation Vita version. You can check out the possible box arts with the media gallery located below this paragraph.

As you can see above, both photos are clearly marked with “Image Not Final.” With that said, the North American covers do resemble the Japanese box art. So the final versions shouldn’t be too different.

For the uninformed, Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star features a brand new story, created be series creator Nasu Kinoko, that will be told from three different perspectives. Fans can expect appearances from characters that were previously in Fate/stay night, Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order. In terms of gameplay, players will have direct control over the servants as they will be able to perform a form change as well as use other unique moves.

Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is being developed by Marvelous with Xseed handling the publishing in the North American region. The software product is expected to come out for both the PlayStation 4 home console and PlayStation Vita handheld system sometime in late 2016.
