The release date has been revealed for the disc version of Ether One on the PlayStation 4. According to the product page on Amazon, the indie game will be getting a physical release on the 5th of April in the North American region. If you are interested, the first-person adventure title is available for preorder with this link from the shopping website.
For the uninformed, Ether One is a software product developed by White Paper Games. It was originally released for the PC on March 25, 2014, before being ported to the PlayStation 4 a little over a year later on May 5, 2015. With the PS4 port, the development team decided to rebuild the game from scratch with the Unreal 4 engine (the original PC version was built on Unreal Engine 3).
In the game, you get to play as a “Restorer” who must help a 69-year old dementia patient by reconstructing her memories via a simulation of an English town called Pinwheel. To do so, you must solve various puzzles.
The physical version is being published by Soedesco. The company previously brought over the PlayStation 4 versions Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams Directors Cut, Teslagrad and The Last Tinker: City of Colors to retail.
