Atlus has announced the contents included in the launch edition of Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. The special version of the Japanese role-playing game will come with a metal emblem set. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will be released for the Nintendo 3DS handheld later this year in the North American region. For the uninformed, Apocalypse is a follow-up to Shin Megami Tensei IV. In the game, you can acquire nearly 450 demons to your party by recruiting and/or fusing them.
2016 is shaping up to be a big year for the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. On June 24th, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U home console. The game, which combines elements from the SMT and Fire Emblem franchises, will be published by Nintendo with Atlus handling the English localization.
Of course, Persona 5 is also slated to arrive later this summer for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles in Japan. The highly anticipated title has already been confirmed for a localized release in the North American region.
