wwe2k16-takerGreg Thomas has provided an explanation as to why the newly-available WWE 2K16 is worth buying. In a press release sent to us, the president at Visual Concepts first stated that this year’s installment was built upon the foundation laid down by WWE 2K15.

WWE 2K16 builds upon last year’s foundation and delivers a great combination of authenticity, realism, gameplay and popular features. This year’s huge roster, memorable 2K Showcase, second year MyCareer offering, additions to Creation Suite and improved Online offerings are certain to ignite the WWE Universe.

Visual Concepts co-developed WWE 2K16 along with Yuke’s. This year’s release has the biggest roster yet (over 120 it total) for any game in the franchise, a huge step up over the disappointing amount of playable characters that were present in 2K15. The 2K Showcase campaign mode will also let fans follow the career of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

WWE 2K16 is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. If you are interested and haven’t done so already, you can buy this year’s version of the wrestling game franchise with this link on Amazon.
