The file size has been revealed for the Xbox One version of Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut. The Xbox Store shopping website listed that the RPG is expected to take up 9.68 GB. Of course, a physical copy is also available (you can preorder it from Amazon with this link) if you prefer the disc release.
For the uninformed, Wasteland 2 is the long-awaited sequel for the first game, which was released way back in 1988. The second game got funded via Kickstarter and was released first for the PC platform last year on the 19th of September.
In addition to catering to consoles (with streamlined controls and user interface), the director’s cut also adds new abilities, voice-overs and the Precision Strike system, which allow you to target specific body parts of the enemies. The encounters of the role-playing game has been redesigned as well.
Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut will be released for the Xbox One, as well as the PlayStation 4, on the 13th of October. If you are looking for something to play before Fallout 4 (which won’t be available until the 10th of November) is released, you may want to check out the similarly-themed Wasteland 2 when it launches on consoles.
