The download size has been revealed for the Nintendo Switch version of Cave Story+. When viewed directly from the system, the product page for the 2D action-adventure game shows that it will require 137 MB of free space.
In addition to being available digitally, Cave Story+ will also be released in physical form. If you are interested, you can preorder the game cartridge version of the game from Amazon with this link.
Cave Story was first released for the Nintendo Wii in 2010. It has since been ported over to the Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 3DS and PC platforms. The plus version of the game comes with upgraded high-definition graphics. It also contains 15 levels, 10 unique weapons as well as 7 gameplay modes (including Boss Rush and Wind Fortress). So, if you are fan of classic 2-bit or 16-bit 2D action-adventure games, then you might want to check out Cave Story+.
The Nintendo Switch comes pre-installed with 32 GB of free space via the internal flash memory. However, a good chunk of which have already been reserved for the operating system. Downloading games like the aforementioned Cave Story+ can also deplete the amount of free space quickly. If you are interested in expanding the storage of the Switch, we recommend checking out a compatible Micro SD card such as the SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Card (which you can find via this page).
