Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition: Toy Box Speedway has been released in the North American region. If you are interested, you can purchase the new expansion with this link on Amazon.
The product comes with Toy Box Speedway in addition to one web code card. For the uninformed, Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition is similar to Mario Kart and other kart racing games. With that said, it uses characters from under the Disney umbrella, including Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar.
Sumo Digital (the development team behind Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing as well as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed) and United Front Games (the studio that worked on ModNation Racers) helped out on the third installment of the Disney Infinity series. So the new Toy Box Speedway expansion should end up being great for fans of the kart racing genre based on the pedigrees of the two companies.
Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition came out a little over a month ago on the 30th of August for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, iOS and Android gaming platforms. Along with Sumo Digital and United Front Games, the project was also worked on by Avalanche Software (the lead developer), Ninja Theory and Studio Gobo.
