It looks like review copies of Bloodborne are being shipped out. Youtube user, FinnGamer, posted an unboxing for the press kit. The package comes with three books: The Art of Yharnam, an empty journal to write on as well as a textbook-sized one that has a compartment containing the review disc and its slip cover. All of these are held together by a leather strap. Check out the unboxing video below.
Another journalist on the NeoGAF forum also said that he was told that a patch will be released later tonight. The pre-release title update, which is going to be 3 GB in size, will fix some glitches as well as enable online features. This will most likely be the same day one patch that you can download at Bloodborne’s launch.
Customers who got the game early were able to play through the entire game without any major hiccups aside from long load times and rare frame rate drops. Hopefully, the new patch will fix these minor issues.
In Bloodborne, you can play the game by yourself. If you have PlayStation Plus, however, you can also dive into the cooperative and player versus player modes as well as take advantage of the asynchronous online features. The PS4 exclusive, which you can preorder on Amazon with this page if you haven’t already, is set for a March 24 release.
