New details are now available for The Art of the Uncharted Trilogy. The book is being published by Dark Horse Books with an ISBN-10 of 1616554878 and ISBN-13 of 978-1616554873. The Art of the Uncharted Trilogy has 240 pages filled with hundreds of designs and concept art that have never been seen before. It will cover Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Also included are some commentaries for members of the Naughty Dog development team. The art book is releasing on the 28th of April.
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception are currently exclusive to the PlayStation 3 console. With that said, Naughty Dog and Sony have shown some interests in launching all three games as remastered releases on the PS4.
For now, the companies are planning to release Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End sometime by the end of 2015. The sequel offers the next step up in terms of graphics (1080p resolution and, possibly, 60 frames per second) in addition to gameplay (with more open elements added to combat and exploration).
