Amazon has provided another look, plus a new release date, for the Final Fantasy Box Set (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX): Official Game Guides. As you can see above, the box set features official strategy guides that have been redesigned and updated for Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX. Along with the deluxe hardcover, each of the book comes with a ribbon bookmark as well as a holographic print.
The Amazon listing also mentioned that the release date is now set for the 7th of July in North America. The same product has already been delayed multiple times. So, hopefully, the new update on the date will be the final one.
All three games were originally released for the PS1 and then re-released as a digital titles on the PS3, PSP and Vita. Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII were also ported to the PC. Last but not least, Square Enix announced late last year during the PlayStation Experience that the computer version of FF7 is coming to the PlayStation 4 sometime later this spring as well.
