The file size has been revealed for the Xbox One version of Overwatch: Origins Edition. According to the Xbox Store shopping website, the first-person shooter is going to take up 7.04 GB of space from the storage of Microsoft’s current-gen console. Along with the digital release, the game is also available via a physical release. You can preorder the disc version of Overwatch with this link from Amazon.
For the uninformed, the upcoming game is a new intellectual property from Blizzard, the same company behind several popular gaming franchises in Diablo, Hearthstone, Starcraft and Warcraft. The first-person shooter features heroes with various special abilities (categorized as offense, defense, tank and support). The Origins Edition of the software product comes with all current and future content.
Overwatch is coming out on the 24th of May in North America and other regions. The first-person shooter will be launching for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
So far, Microsoft has included either an internal 500 GB hard disk drive or 1 TB hard disk drive with Xbox One consoles. Furthermore, you can also add more free space via an external HDD.
