Additional details and images are now available for the Bloodborne Hunter Statue. According to multiple Twitter posts from Mamegyorai, the figure is being sculpted by Shinya Akao/Headlong, who previously worked on Metal Gear Rising Revengeance’s Raiden and Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head. As you can see the Bloodborne Hunter Statue features the same character that appears in the box art of the game. Of course, you will be able to customize the look and arsenal of your character in the RPG. The figure won’t be released in time for the release of the videogame. Instead, it is slated to be made available in Japan later this December.
Bloodborne was leaked under the code name of Project Beast just before Sony did a formal unveiling at E3 2014. The game is a result of a collaboration between From Software and SCE Japan Studio, who previously teamed up with Demon’s Souls. While Bloodborne shares many of the same components as the other Souls games, it does have the faster pace of the combat and other mechanical changes.
March 24 is the official release date for the videogame even though some retailers apparently broke the street date as information leaks have been appearing online. You can preorder the PS4 exclusive with this Amazon link if you haven’t done so already.
