The 196-page graphic novel uses full colors and comes from Shotaro Ishinomori, the creator behind the Cyborg 009 and Kamen Rider series. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past manga was first serialized in the Nintendo Power magazine before being released as a collection.
Its story is based on the plot of the videogame with the same name, which was first released in North America in 1992. It would eventually appear on the Game Boy Advance as well as the Virtual Console services of the Wii and Wii U. Link, the main protagonist, has to travel between the dark and light worlds in order to stop Ganon.
