The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D release date may have been revealed. According to a listing from Amazon.it, the handheld remake is going to be made available on the 13th of February. If you haven’t already, you can preorder the 3DS exclusive release right now with this link on Amazon.com.
The listed release date occurs on a Friday, the preferred day of the week for new videogame launches in European regions. North American gamers usually get the same game three days earlier on a Tuesday. So The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D may be coming out on the 10th of February in North America.
On the other hand, Nintendo doesn’t always abide by the Tuesday rule. For instance, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U were all released on a Friday. Not to mention that releasing The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D on Friday the 13th ties in well with the themes of the videogame.
Thanks to the power of the Nintendo 3DS, the remake will feature better graphics (in addition to stereoscopic 3D support) when compared to the original Nintendo 64 release. The new version will also take advantage of the portable’s touch screen and gyroscope functions.
