The file size has been listed for the PlayStation 4 version of Need for Speed. According to the PlayStation Store shopping website, the reboot is going to take up 17.4 GB (the store shows a lightly higher 18.7 GB requirement when viewed directly on the PS4). In addition to the digital download version, you can also preorder a physical copy racing game from Amazon with this link.
The new game is being developed by Ghost Games, which previously worked on Need for Speed Rivals. It will come with a campaign where gamers can choose between five different play styles: Build, Crew, Outlaw, Speed and Style. Even with the focus on the story, Need for Speed will require an internet connection.
The racing game will be hitting the PlayStation 4, as well as the Xbox One, on the 3rd of November in the North American region. The PC port is expected to arrive sometime early next year.
So far, all new PlayStation 4 consoles released in North America come equipped with a 500 GB internal hard disk drive. On November 6th, however, Sony Computer Entertainment will be releasing a 1 TB model of the system via the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Limited Edition Console Bundle.
