Amazon has opened the product page for the upcoming Megadimension Neptunia VII, revealing the release date for the game. According to the online retailer, the Japanese role-playing game will be launching early next year on the 26th of January in the North American. If you are interested, you can preorder the latest Neptunia installment with this link.
Unlike the previous games in the series, Megadimension Neptunia VII will feature three different story modes. One of the new battle features is “Parts Break,” which will allow you to break the enemies into pieces, resulting in lower attacks and making certain attacks non-functional. The other new elements include “Giant Battles” (which imposes limits for a tougher challenge) and “Next Mode” (a second transformation with new special skills). Last but not least, a new Spelunker-like mini-game has been added as well.
2016 is expected to be a stellar year for JRPG fans on the PlayStation 4. In addition to Megadimension Neptunia VII, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Persona 5, Start Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness and World of Final Fantasy will be released next year as well.
Megadimension Neptunia VII is the fourth mainline installment of the Neptunia. Instead of “Seven,” the “VII” in the name refers to “Victory II.”
