GameStop has provided a look at several upcoming Xbox One Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Wired Controllers. You can check out the photos of the BB-8, Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren, Stormtrooper and X-Wing gamepads below this paragraph.
The controllers are manufactured by PowerA and has been officially licensed by Microsoft for use with the Xbox One. As you can see above, the pads are designed based on the iconic characters and vehicles that will be appearing in the highly-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens movie, which is hitting theaters on Dec. 18.
In terms of features, the PowerA controller comes with dual rumble motors in addition to impulse triggers. Instead of being wireless like the official Xbox One controller, the third-party pad uses a 9.8 foot cord for a wired connection.
The new products are coming out on the 11th of September in the North American region with the Captain Phasma version being exclusive to GameStop retailers.
Along with the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens controllers, PowerA previously released gamepads based on the prior Star Wars movies. If you are interested, you can check out the earlier releases on Amazon with the following links: Darth Vader, R2D2 and Stormtropper.
