The PlayStation Store shopping website has revealed its preorder bonuses for the PlayStation 4 version of Mad Max. The shopping website is offering a system menu theme based on the videogame for customers who are reserving the digital release. The other bonus is The Ripper, which is a fully customizable Magnum Opus car body. In total, the bonuses take up 186 MB of free space on the HDD of the PlayStation 4.
Mad Max was originally revealed during Sony’s press conference at E3 2013. The project became somewhat troublesome as the development team at Avalanche Studios had to re-tool the game, causing it to be delayed from its initial 2014 release.
For the uninformed, the video is an open-world title based on the popular movies. As Max Rockatansky , players get to explore a post-apocalyptic desert wasteland in order to scavenge and build the ultimate vehicle. Although the Mad Max: Fury Road came out earlier this year, the game won’t be directly tied to the movie.
Mad Max is coming out on the first day of September on the PC, Xbox One and the above-mentioned PlayStation 4. Along with a digital release, the software product is also being sold physically. If you are interested, you can preorder the disc version from Amazon with this link.
