Amazon has put up a listing for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: RM-012 Venom Snake Action Figure, revealing some new images. If you are interested, you can preorder the soon-to-be-released figurine from the shopping website with this link. As you can see above, Venom Snake has multiple poses. It measures at a little over five inches in height when stood strait up. The figure is expected to be made available on the 12th of August.
For the uninformed, Venom Snake is the latest nickname given to a character best known by the alias of Big Boss. He was the protagonist in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
Big Boss will once again be the main character in The Phantom Pain. The fifth main installment has a lot of controversies surrounding it as Hideo Kojima (the series creator) will be leaving Konami at the end of this year. With that said, Konami has already revealed plans to continue the franchise without Kojima.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is coming out on September 1st.
