Viacom and Ubisoft talk South Park: The Fractured but Whole and The Stick of Truth success

The former first talked about The Stick of Truth, saying that its success showed that fans want a more interactive experience when it comes to South Park. As a result, Dan Yang believed that the sequel will be able to please fans. The success of Stick of Truth proves our fans crave a deeper interactive experience with South Park. Working with Ubisoft to extend the South Park gaming franchise will no doubt galvanize the audience’s interest across all platforms.

Laurent Detoc also stated that South Park: The Stick of Truth created a new genre called “Comedy Role Playing Game.” Since the development team had a great time working on the project and gamers ended up loving the final product, the president of Ubisoft Americas decided to work with South Park Digital Studios again.
