The product page for The Surge has been updated on the PlayStation Store, revealing the size requirement for the videogame. When viewed directly from the PS4, the listing reveals that the action role-playing game is going to require 5.42 GB of free space on the hard drive of the home console.
Along with the digital version, a physical release is also available for the product, which is being developed by Deck13 Interactive (the studio best known for Lords of the Fallen) and published by Focus Home Entertainment. If you are interested, you can preorder the disc version of The Surge with this link on Amazon.
The Surge is set in a dystopian future where you play as a man who wears a exoskeleton in order to fight against machines and other enemies. The game features limb-targeting, which will result in earning specific loot that will help with leveling up.
The Surge is launching on May 16th for the PlayStation 4 as well as the PC and Xbox One.
If you don’t have enough space on your PS4 hard drive for the action RPG, then you might want to consider purchasing a supported external hard drive. We recommend taking a look at the 2TB USB 3.0 My Passport Portable External Hard Drive from Western Digital if you are interested in doing so (you can find it here).
