The file sizes have been listed for the Xbox One versions of Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition. According to the Xbox Store shopping website, the remastered version of the original game will take up 6.96 GB. The Riptide standalone add-on requires 6.79 GB of free space.
Both titles are part of the Dead Island Definitive Collection bundle. Along with being a digital download, the software product is also available as a physical release. You can purchase the disc version, if you are interested, with this link on Amazon.
Dead Island was first released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms on September 6, 2011. The popular title provides an open world zombies apocalyptic environment where up to four players can explore. The other notable features are the first-person melee combat system as well as weapon crafting.
Dead Island Riptide is a standalone expansion that was first released on April 23, 2013, on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The add-on takes place directly after the ending of the original. Along with both titles, Dead Island Definitive Collection also includes Dead Island Retro Revenge, a 2D game.
Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition is releasing on May 31st for the Xbox One console in addition to the PS4 and PC platforms.
