Future Press, the publisher of the upcoming official Bloodborne guide, recently made multiple posts on Facebook talking more about their latest product. The company first explained why you need to buy the strategy guide, which you can preorder from Amazon with this page. In addition to discussing what content will be included in the book, they also teased the exclusive PS4 theme as the extra will have background music from Bloodborne and a “subtle” visual effect. We want everyone to experience every little detail of this rich game and unlock its true potential. The guide is full of insider knowledge, presented in a visually intuitive way – we can’t wait to show you some sample pages. In addition to game analysis, cool strategies and hand drawn area maps, the book also features what we call a bonus chest. And there’s quite some treasure inside. We’ll talk more about this in the coming days, but for now, let us tease you by saying that the exclusive and lengthy interview with Mr. Miyazaki will be the real gem for fans of his work. And well…an exclusive PS4 Theme is pretty cool, right? It features ambient background music from Bloodborne and a very subtle graphical effect, something that is designed to attune you to Bloodborne-time.
In another post, Future Press also talked the release plans for the Bloodborne Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide. As it turns out, the product is exclusive to Amazon. The company also suggests that prospective buyers should preorder as it gives them a better understand at how many copies to print. Speaking of which, there may not be a second print run:
As to the English US version, it’s only available at Amazon.com (it isn’t going to be sold anywhere else) and we do encourage you to pre-order it now, as it gives us a better indication for how many units should be printed to meet demand. We cannot assure you that there will be a second print run, and we really want to avoid disappointment as we’ve seen it with many of our previous guides (btw, the book is still on sale with a stunning 40% discount).
Last but not least, Future Press also confirmed that the guide is going to be translated in German:
We have decided to localize our guide into German, so please check back and we’ll inform you as soon as the guide is ready for pre-order at various retailers.
Bloodborne Collector’s Edition Strategy Guide comes out on the same day as the videogame as both products are launching on the 24th of March. The RPG is only being released on the PS4 due to a deal between Sony and From Software.
