It looks like Hori has another product that will be coming out alongside the Nintendo 3DS XL. The company is planning to release the Screen Protective Filter, which has been officially licensed by Nintendo. You can check out its price with this link on Amazon and a picture of the newest Hori product below this paragraph. The Hori Screen Protective Filter is designed to protect both the top and bottom screens of the Nintendo 3DS XL (it won’t work with the regular 3DS, regular 3DS XL and 2DS) from dirt and scratches. There is also an easier and better method to apply the filters if you were having trouble before with other filters. Last but not least, a cleaning cloth is also included in the package.
The Hori Screen Protective Filter is going to be made available on the 13th of February. Of course, the Nintendo 3DS XL is also launching on the same day. For the uninformed, the new 3DS hardware revision comes with a right analog C-stick, head tracking for better stereoscopic 3D display in addition to improved CPU performance. Its launch games will include Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask with other compatible titles coming out shortly after.
