WWE 2K15: Paige, WCW, NXT Arrival, New Moves and 2K Showcase DLC release date rumors clarified

paige_in_wwe_2k15Marcus Stephenson has clarified a new rumor surrounding the release date of the various DLC being planned for WWE 2K15. On Twitter, the 2K community manager released a statement saying that the rumored April launch for all the packs was false:

He went on to explain that his company does not want to give out any tentative release dates in case something ended up slipping:

Mr. Stephenson then clarified what he meant when he said “this year” regarding the DLC releases:

Last but not least, he also hinted that the packs may not be coming out at the same time on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 as opposed to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 due to the different store update schedules of Sony and Microsoft:

The DLC plans for WWE 2K15 includes several 2K Showcase campaigns, which will focus on Mark Henry, The Ultimate Warrior as well as the rivalry between Christian and Randy Orton. You can get all three at a discount with the Showcase Season Pass, which also comes with Paige as an exclusive playable character.

Outside of the 2K Showcases, 2K is also planning to sell the WCW, NXT Arrival and New Moves packs individually.
