Updated Fighting Commander PS4/PS3/PC controller gets North American release date and more photos

Amazon has updated its product page for the new Fighting Commander PS4/PS3, revealing the North American release date as well as some additional photos. If you are interested, you can preorder the controller, which has been officially licensed by Sony, with this link on the shopping website. You can also check out the new images of the fight pad with our media gallery located just underneath this paragraph.

For the uninformed, the updated Fighting Commander features an asymmetrical design while getting rid of the rotatable directional pad (which was causing issues to some players) when compared to the previously released Fighting Commander 4.

The new gamepad is designed for 2D fighting games although it will also be a great fit for other 2D titles. Along with a d-pad, the product comes equipped with a 10-foot wired connection, six face button layout, R/L switch and PS4/PS3/PC switch. Gamers can also change the directional pad to function as a left analog or right analog.

The updated Fighting Commander is now expected to come out on the 15th of August in the North American region. So, if you are looking for a controller dedicated for 2D fighting games, you might want to take a look at the upcoming product.
