The U.S. release date has been listed by GameStop for the upcoming Arslan: The Warriors of Legend. According to the product page from the shopping website, the videogame is expected to come out on the 2nd of February of 2016. That date falls on Tuesday, which is when a majority of new games are launched in the North American region.
For the uninitiated, the videogame is based on the anime and manga series called The Heroic Legend of Arslan. The story follows Arslan, the price of Pars, as he tries to reclaim his kingdom that was overtaken by the neighboring Lusitania.
In Arslan: The Warriors of Legend, the developer at Omega Force decided to use cel-shaded graphics to match the visual style of the source materials. The game will also incorporate the fast-paced action gameplay found in Dynasty Warriors as well as other Musou games such as Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, Hyrule Warriors, One Piece Pirate Warriors and Samurai Warriors.
In North America, Arslan: The Warriors of Legend will be coming out in both digital and physical formats for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will only be available as a digital download on the PlayStation 3.
