Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Amiibo bundle spotted with release date

amiibo_img03_E3It looks like Nintendo is planning another bundle for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. We spotted a listing on Amazon.fr indicating that another version of the videogame is going to be packed in with the Mario Amiibo. The new bundle is available on the 5th of December, which is the newly-announced release date for the standalone videogame in France and other countries in Europe.

The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Amiibo bundle seems to be only limited to France so far as we couldn’t find any mention in the American retail sites. Of course, you could simply buy the videogame and Mario Amiibo separately to get the same products. Preorder both right now on Amazon – Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Mario Amiibo.

To use Amiibos in the videogame, you cave to place it on top of the designated area on the Wii U Gamepad. Doing so will let you train these A.I. fighters, letting you build up their defensive and offensive capabilities along with setting up their special moves. The trainees can level up to 50 and can be used to fight other Amiibos.

The interactive figurines are also supported in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Kart 8, Mario Party 10 and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
