The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its summary for Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World. The multiplatform Japanese role-playing game ended up with a Teen rating due to contents categorized as Alcohol Reference, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language and Suggestive Themes. You can check out the full ESRB description below:
This is a role-playing game in which players follow alchemists as they collect/create resources to build a town. Players engage in various missions that include battling monsters in turn-based combat. Characters use swords, pistols, and magic staffs to attack fantasy creatures (e.g., slime creatures, fox-like animals).
Some female characters wear low-cut outfits that reveal moderate amounts of cleavage. Characters occasionally discuss alcohol and a drinking contest (e.g., “And a bunch of people are already drunk…”; “She claims she’s never lost a drinking contest.”); one sequence involves characters building a giant wine barrel for townspeople to drink from. The words “damn” and “hell” appear in the dialogue.
Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World will be released early next year for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. If you are interested, you can preorder the physical console versions of the JRPG with this link on Amazon.
