Sexual themes and more detailed for Punch Line

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has revealed its summary for Punch Line. The visual novel ended up with a Mature rating due to contents categorized as Blood, Language, Sexual Themes and Violence. You can check out the full ESRB description below:

This is an anime-style visual novel in which players assume the role of a man (Yuta Iridatsu) whose soul gets separated from his body. As players progress through the game, they can view animated sequences in which characters engage in hand-to-hand combat; some sequences depict characters held at gunpoint and/or shot by soldiers. A handful of cutscenes depict blood around bodies and spurting out of a character’s nose in an exaggerated, fountain-like manner.

The game contains some sexual material: female characters in provocative poses (e.g., bending over, legs spread) revealing their underwear; interactive sequences in which players can zoom in on women’s undergarments; an image gallery depicting characters’ underwear from various angles. The word “sh*t” appears in the dialogue.

Punch Line will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita platforms on the 25th of September in the North American region. If you are interested in the visual novel, you can preorder a physical copy with this link on Amazon.
