It looks like some resellers are taking advantage of the popularity of the Super Smash Bros. Amiibo figures that was just released. Amazon recently set up a product listing that bundles all of the figurines released so far: Donkey Kong, Fox, Kirby, Link, Mario, Marth, Pikachu, Peach, Samus, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Yoshi. These sets are selling at big markups when compared to the amount of money you can spend buying all the figures individually.
With that said, if you have a hard time trying to buy all of the Amiibos from the first wave for the holidays, the pricey bundles may end up being your best chance at some point. Check out the listing with this link.
The first set was released alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The fighting game uses the Amiibo figures as an unique A.I. fighter in which you can train, team up with and even used to fight other computer-controlled combatants. Of course, these can also be used in other compatible videogames like Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Hyrule Warriors.
Early indications, include the big markups mentioned above, have shown that Amiibos are going to be hard to come by this holiday season. So it is best to buy them as soon as possible.
