The file size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Madden NFL 16. According to the web browser version of the PlayStation Store shopping website, the videogame is going to take up 19.2 GB. When viewed from the storefront on the PS4, the product will require 20.7 GB on the HDD. Along with being available digitally, that latest Madden installment can also be bought on disc (you can preorder the physical release, if you are interested, with this link on Amazon).
Along with the updated rosters, this year’s videogame also includes improved playmaker controls along with the brand new Draft Champions mode. In addition to the PlayStation 4, the Madden NFL 16 will also be coming out on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 25th of August in the North American region.
Sony equipped the PlayStation 4 with a 500 GB at launch and recently added a 1 TB model. With that said, the empty spaces on the hard drive get filled quickly due to mandatory installation for all games (including retail), DLC expansions along with title updates. If you are running out of space, you should consider upgrading to an internal HDD with more storage capacity, such as the Samsung Seagate Momentus SpinPoint 2TB 2.5-Inch SATA III Notebook Hard Drive (which you can check out with this page).
