The original Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a mixture of the fighting and role-playing genres. The fights take place in real-time over massive battlefields. The game’s structure, however, is based on RPGs as you can learn new abilities, earn new equipment, team up with others for online quests and fight against other players.
The sequel expands the multiplayer servers to 300 per server as well as having multiple hubs. Furthermore, it will also feature content from the Dragon Ball Super anime series.
Bandai Namco Games will be releasing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the PlayStation 4, as well as the Xbox One, on the 25th of October in North America. The PC port will be coming out two days later on the 27th of October.
