The file size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 1. According to the first-person shooter’s product page on the PlayStation Store (when viewed directly on the PS4), the game will require 45.53 GB of free space on the internal hard disk drive.
Thankfully, the latest Battlefield installment also has a physical release if you can’t afford to download the big file. If you are interested, you can preorder the retail disc release of the PlayStation 4 version with this link from Amazon.
For the uninformed, Battlefield 1 brings the massive multiplayer battles back to the World War 1 era. As a result, you can expect to play with plenty of authentic weapons and vehicles from that time period.
The first-person shooter has two different release dates in North America. The Early Enlister Deluxe and Collector’s Editions will be released on the 18th of October. The Standard Edition will be launching three days later on the 21st of October.
If 45.53 GB won’t fit into your current hard drive, you might want to consider upgrading to one with more storage capacity. If you are interested in doing so, we recommend checking out the Seagate 2TB Laptop HDD Internal Hard Drive (ST2000LM007) via this page on Amazon.
