The file size has finally been listed by the European Sony Entertainment Store shopping website for the PlayStation 4 version of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. The standalone expansion to Wolfenstein: The New Order is going to take up 36.4 GB of free space on Sony’s current-gen console.
To compare, the Xbox One version of the same game requires 37.14 GB. So there isn’t much of a difference between the two console releases.
For the uninformed, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood takes place prior to the events that occurred in Wolfenstein: The New Order, which ended up being one of the better first-person shooters released in the past couple of years. The gameplay remains largely the same as the main game, so you can expect great weapons and solid shooting mechanics. While The Old Blood has two parts, the development team decided to bundle both instead of selling each separately.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is slated for a release on the 5th of May. The expansion is only coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Wolfenstein: The New Order was also available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 in addition to the aforementioned three platforms).
