The download size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Yooka-Laylee. When viewed directly from the PS4, the product page on the PlayStation Store showed that the 3D platforming game is going to require 3.44 GB of free space on the hard drive.
In addition to the digital release, Yooka-Laylee is also available in physical form. You can preorder the disc release of the platformer, if you are interested, with this link on Amazon.
For the uninformed, Yooka-Laylee comes from the same individuals responsible for Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. The new intellectual property is a spiritual successor as you control a duo of characters (in this case, Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat). Players explore massive worlds and compete challenges in order to find “Pagies,” which are used to expand the worlds or unlock new ones.
Yooka-Laylee was developed by Playtonic Games and published by Team17. The game started out as a Kickstarter project as it was initially crowd funded. In addition to the PlayStation 4, the same title is also coming to the PC and Xbox One on the 11th of April in the North American region. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development and is expected to come out sometime later this year.
