Amazon has a preorder page for MLB 15: The Show, which you can check out with this link, revealing some new details on the PlayStation 4 exclusive graphical improvements for the baseball game. SCE San Diego Studio is going to introduce real-time “seasonal sun and shadows” into the video game in addition to changing up the night lighting. These enhancements should add more realism, at least in terms of visuals.
But that’s not all. The listing also hinted at “enhanced player personality,” which may indicate that the virtual versions are going to animate more like their real-life counterparts.
Sony announced MLB 15: The Show during The Game Awards, when it was announced that Yasiel Puig is the cover star. The same game also made an appearance at Sony’s keynote during the first ever PlayStation Experience. Aside from their annual baseball franchise, SCE San Diego Studio is also working on Drawn to Death (with David Jaffe) and Kill Strain on the PlayStation 4.
