A new patch is now available for PaRappa The Rapper Remastered on PlayStation 4. The release note, when viewed directly on the system, shows that the title update contains a general bug fix.
Many players were previously having trouble with Stage 4 of the game, where Parappa has to bake a birthday cake for Sunny Funny with Cheap Cheap Chicken. The timing for the ticker in this level was slightly off, which could throw off your rhythm.
Based on our experience, the new patch seems to have somewhat fix the issue. We previously could not beat Stage 4 after countless tries. After the title update, however, we were able to barely complete the level after a handful of attempts.
PaRappa The Rapper was first released for the original PlayStation on November 17, 1997, in the North American region. It was later ported to the PlayStation Portable on July 17, 2017.
The PlayStation 4 version, which came out last year on the 4th of April, features native 4K graphics in addition to having the remix songs from the PSP release.
