Chris Arbogast has commented on why the newly-available PS4 Data Bank in worth buying. In a press release sent to us, the marketing director of Nyko first mentioned that the product is designed to provide gamers a convenient way to add extra storage and expand of the functionality of the console.
He also said that players are often faced with tough decisions of deleting game data as games take up a lot of space on the hard disk drive, while adding that his company won’t be letting that happen again. You can find all his comments below:
With the Data Bank, we’re offering a solution that expands the console’s functionality and provides gamers with the convenience of extra storage space. With downloadable and hard copies of games taking up tens of gigs of storage against the stock 500GB hard drive, we’re facing the tough decision of choosing which game save to delete in favor of playing a new game. Nyko wants to make sure that never has to happen again.
For the uninformed, the Nyko Data Bank replaces the default hard drive cover of the PS4 using a simple one screw installation. It is designed to match the design and color scheme of Sony’s console. It also comes with an LED light to indicate when the HDD is being used.
With the accessory install, you will be able to use the 3.5” hard disk drives, which are cheaper and can store more data when compared to 2.5” hard drives. So, if you would like to use a 3.5” with the PlayStation 4, you should check out the Nyko Data Bank on Amazon with this page.
