The North American release date has been listed by Amazon for the upcoming Y-300X Xbox One Gaming Headset. The latest Thrustmaster product is expected to come out on the 6th of November. If you are interested, you can preorder the officially licensed Xbox One headset by using this link from the aforementioned online retailer.
If you have not yet read our previous report, the Thrustmaster Y-300X Xbox One Gaming Headset comes with 60mm drivers, double electro-acoustic bass amplification in addition to a adjustable and detachable unidirectional microphone. In terms of ergonomics, the headset uses 100 percent memory foam cushions on both the headband as well as the earpieces.
Along with being plug-and-play compatible with the Xbox One, the same product can also be used with smart phones, tablets and other devices via the 3.5 mm jack connector. If you have the original Xbox One Wireless Controller, you will need Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter, which you can check out here, to use the headset.
Aside from the somewhat standard official Xbox One Stereo Headset, a majority of the headsets for the Xbox One comes from third-party manufacturer. If you are looking for one yourself, you might want to give the Y-300X from Thurstmaster a try when it launches.
