A new North American release date has been listed for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of Steins;Gate 0. According to an update to the product pages on Amazon, the visual novel is now expected to come out on the 1st of November in the west. If you are interested, you can preorder the follow-up to the original Steins;Gate with the following links from the shopping website: PS4 version and Vita version.
The new date falls on a Tuesday, the day of the week in which a majority of new videogame products are released in the North American region.
For the uninformed, Steins;Gate 0 takes place after the bad ending of the original Steins;Gate. A group of students has to time travel in order to prevent the third World War. Like the first game, players can determine the outcome of the story via the in-game smart phone.
The first Steins;Gate came out for the PC in North America on March 31, 2014. It was then ported to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on August 25, 2015.
Steins;Gate 0 came out in Japan on December 10, 2015. So it looks like the localized version will be coming out around 11 months later in the North American region.
