New gameplay screenshots have been revealed for the upcoming Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. If you haven’t done so already, the action role-playing game was recently made available for preorder, which you can check out with the following links: Standard Edition and Storybook Edition. Take a look the new screens of the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita remastered port below this paragraph.
As you can see above, the graphics have been improved over the original as the game can now be rendered at 1080p. Not to mention that the frame rate will now be at 60 frames per second, which is especially great when you take into consideration that the original PlayStation 2 game suffered from major slowdowns when there was a lot of action happening on screen.
There will be some gameplay changes in Leifthrasir as well since the development team will be implementing elements from Dragon’s Crown. New areas and enemies are added too. To please fans of the PS2 game, Atlus is also including the classic version, which won’t have any of the new gameplay changes (but will retain the visual upgrades), in the package.
According to the Amazon listing, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will be released for all three PlayStation platforms on the 12th of April.
