More photos have been made available for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 Silver Wired Stereo Headset. The Silver Wired Stereo Headset is a cheaper version of Gold Wireless Stereo Headset. The silver edition still uses the 7.1 virtual surround sound feature and can also be adjusted to chat with friends via a boom microphone (which can also be retracted). Comfortably and durability are also listed as features as Sony promises that gamers won’t feel any awkwardness or be afraid of the item breaking when using for hours. It also supports the same custom modes as the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset for videogames like Grand Theft Auto V and Destiny.
While its primary use is on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, the headset is compatible with PC using the USB cable (and will still support the 7.1 virtual surround sound feature) in addition to the PlayStation Vita and other mobile devices using the 3.5mm audio cable. The Silver Wired Stereo Headset is available later this year in the United States.
