The 50X is designed to be lightweight and comfortable. It comes equipped with 40mm Neodymium speakers with in-line controls so that you can adjust the master volume and microphone mute options. Also included is the boom microphone, which can be adjusted and detached (when not in use).
The Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50X Gaming Headset is connected to the Xbox One Wireless Controller via the 3.5mm headset jack. For the uninformed, Microsoft recently released an updated version of the official gamepad with native headset support. As a result, you won’t have to purchase an adapter like you would have to with the original version of the controller.
Along with the Xbox One, the headset can also be used on the PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, mobiles, tablets and other devices that use the 3.5mm headset jack.
The Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50X Gaming Headset for Xbox One is expected to come out later in 2015 for North America.
