The ESRB has released a rating description for the PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below. The action role-playing game ended up with a Teen rating as a result of fantasy violence, mild blood and mild suggestive themes.
A few female characters in the game can be seen wearing low-cut revealing outfits. Players can also find items such as a garter and fishnet stockings. You can read that part of the description for the upcoming Square Enix title below:
Some female characters wearing low-cut outfits that reveal moderate amounts of cleavage; obtainable items include a garter and fishnet stockings (text reads: “Sexy suspenders to stun friend and foe alike” and ‘Titillating tights that show off a lady’s legs”).
As for the gameplay, players can use magic and sword attacks to defeat creatures such as dragons, golems, slimes and skeleton. The battles are highlighted with cries of pain, light effects and impact-landing sounds. Check out the rest of ESRB’s summary for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below:
This is an action/role-playing game in which players assume the role of young royal guards attempting to protect their kingdom from evil forces. From a third-person perspective, players use swords and magic attacks (e.g., fireballs/jets of flame, large bursts of energy) to destroy dozens of fantastical enemy monsters (e.g., slime creatures, skeleton warriors, dragons, stone golems). Battles are highlighted by impact sounds, light effects, and brief cries of pain. One enemy is called “bloody hand,” and is depicted as a hand dripping with red slime-like blood.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below was released earlier this year in Japan on Feb. 26 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles. In North America, Square Enix will only be releasing the game for the PS4. You can preorder the upcoming Dragon Quest videogame, which is coming out on the 13th of October, with this link from Amazon.
