Mark Julio has revealed some of the differences between the old and new versions of the Tournament Edition 2 fighting sticks for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The Community and Sponsorship Manager at Mad Catz first confirmed that the previously sold out Tournament Edition 2 fighting sticks will be restocked after the Street Fighter V Chun Li version is released:
We’re expecting the Mad Catz and Rivals TE2 in stock after the Chun-Li one arrives. They will have improvements. https://t.co/pDp5pdgzG6

He then revealed that, starting with the aforementioned Mad Catz Street Fighter V Chun-Li Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2, all the TE2s will have better “plexi/artwork application.” With that said, both the old and new versions will have mostly the same measurements:
@ZachSweis @8bitpimp yep, starting with the Chun-Li TE2 we’ll have improved plexi/artwork application. — Mark Julio (マークマン) (@MarkMan23) October 15, 2015
@SuperKawaiiDesu the size/footprint is mostly the same. So yes. 🙂

If you haven’t heard already, the Mad Catz Street Fighter V Chun-Li Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2, which you can preorder right now on Amazon with this link, is expected to come out later this year in the North American region.
Street Fighter V is releasing on the PlayStation 4 (as well as PC) until early next year in the U.S. The fighting game will start with 16 initial characters with more being added via DLC. Along with having an option to pay, the game will also let users earn the downloadable content in the game for free with in-game currency.
