Launch screenshots for Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin

To celebrate the launch of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, Bandai Namco released a new selection of screenshots for the remastered version. The screens show off some of the visual improvements as well as several of the new content being added to the new iteration. For the uninformed, the DirectX 11, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the videogame comes with improvements to the graphics and sound department. From Software is also taking advantage of the more powerful platforms to increase the maximum amount of online players to six.

All versions of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin come with expanded item description, improved online connectivity, rebalanced gameplay along with the three DLC packs from the original release: Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King.

Form Software has been very busy over the past two years. The studio released Dark Souls 2 last year before launching Bloodborne exclusive for the PlayStation 4 on the 24th of March in 2015. Bandai Namco launched Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin just two weeks after the release of Bloodborne.
