The file size has been revealed for the PlayStation 4 version of Mighty No. 9. According to the PlayStation Store shopping website, the 2D action game is going to take up 2.0 GB of free space on the hard disk drive. When viewed on the PS4, the product page showed a slightly higher requirement of 2.2 GB. Along with the digital release, you can also purchase a physical version (if you are interested, you can preorder the disc copy with this link on Amazon).
For the uninformed, Mighty No. 9 is a spiritual successor of Mega Man. In fact, Keiji Inafune, best known for his work with the Mega Man titles, is producing the new intellectual property. It is being developed by Comcept with help from Inti Creates. The project started out on Kickstarter and ended up being quickly funded. Deep Silver eventually picked up the publishing duties for the game.
Mighty No. 9 has been delayed multiple times, which ended up upsetting many fans as well as backers. However, the game was recently confirmed to have gone gold in the development process. It is now slated to come out for the 21st of June for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions will be launching sometime later in the year.
