The file size has been revealed for the Xbox One version of NBA 2K16. According to the Xbox Store shopping website, the basketball videogame will take up 44.86 GB of space from the storage of Microsoft’s home console. If you don’t want to download a game with that big of a file size, you can also preorder the physical release with this link from Amazon.
One of the reasons for the big size is the new MyCareer mode, which is more story-focused (with more cut scenes) when compared to the previous installments. Spike Lee was even brought in to work on the plot. The development team at Visual Concepts is also adding multiple classic teams in addition 25 Euroleague teams. The MyGM, MyLeague and MyTeam modes are returning as well.
NBA 2K16 is coming out on the 29th of September for the aforementioned Xbox One as well as the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms.
The Xbox One comes with either a 500 GB or 1 TB internal HDD. If you are a hardcore gamer, however, it is very easy to fill up the free space with games like the above-mentioned NBA 2K16. Fortunately, Microsoft recently released an officially-licensed external HDD, which you can check out on Amazon with this link.
